R I P Ken Nixon

We were all shocked at rehearsal on Wednesday to hear that Ken was in Intensive Care, then David Woodward came at tea break to say that sadly Ken had died at 7.40 that evening. Ken was a lovely person and a great asset to Beulah Brass. He will be sadly missed by everyone. His funeral will be held on Thursday (24th) at 11.00 in St Paul's Abergele and the band has been asked to play.
I'm sure everyone will want to be there to say goodbye to a true friend. God Bless you Ken

Our thoughts are with Mary and the family at this sad time.

  1. The turn out for Ken's funeral was very good, and we played well, though it was very difficult. Rev Keith Tewkesbury conducted the service, and our own Rev, David Woodward, spoke with great feeling about Ken and his many interests. We played a lot of Ken's favourite hymns before the service
