"“ … they were come unto the land of Beulah, where … the trumpets continually sound so melodiously."

More Information

Rehearsals take place every Wednesday evening 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. at St Paul's Methodist Church Hall, Bridge Street Abergele, LL22 7HA, but most people arrive from 7.00 onwards.

We play a variety of musical styles including popular, light classical and traditional, as well as marches and hymns.  And we always keep a rendition of "Happy Birthday" up our sleeves for whenever it's needed.

The bulk of our work is in garden fetes and evening fund raising concerts, plus the occasional private function. We also play for church services.

The main band numbers between 20 and 25 players.  We play both indoors and outdoors but do rely upon cover being provided if it is raining.  We also have a "Day Band" known as "Beulah Brass Bach", of about ten players who can perform at smaller events on weekdays, usually around lunchtime or in the afternoon.

We have about half a dozen in our learners group - many of mature years, and they seem to have a lot of fun, thus proving that it's never too late to learn!  If you fancy learning to play brass, come along on a Wednesday at 6.30 pm and Dave and Martin will be happy to add you to the class.

If you are interested in booking the band, please speak to Mary Wallace or send in an e-mail to the address on the site.
